Before we learn about the ways to reduce stress and anxiety , first we have to understand and learn the meaning of both stress and anxiety .
Stress has lot of meanings but in simple language , stress is defined as human or any organism total response to their environmental demands or pressure or in other term stress is a term which applied to various physiologic (bodily) and psycho-logic (mental) felt by people throughout their lives.
Anxiety is a feeling of difficulty or troubles and restlessness. It is often happens with muscular tensions also anxiety is closely related to fear which response to past threat, immediate threat and expectation of future threat . Anxiety results in fatigue, restlessness and Concentration Problem.
As stress and Anxiety correlates with each other, therefore i am mentioning some Simple & Effective ways to reduce stress and anxiety , and if practice them in your daily life , i am sure that it will really help you to overcome your stress and anxiety which results a healthy and happy life

- 1. Meditation and Yoga
- Meditation is a practice of concentrated focus upon an object, sound, visualization, movement,the breath, or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment it reduce stress, enhance personal and spiritual growth and promote relaxation.
- Traditionally, yoga is a method or way joining the self with the Divine, Universal Spirit, Physical and mental exercises are designed to help achieve this goal, also called self- enlightenment

2. Talk and Share
As per my personal experience a good social network could be good tool to reduce stress and anxiety , what you have to do you just need to meet you close one or any friend of yours and talk to them face to face , share you problems, feelings with them and if physical meeting is not possible just call them and do the same , this will give you a fresh prospective for life which reduce stress.
Use some essential oils or burn a scented or aromatic candle , the fragrance which you love may help you to provide a state of mind and reduce stress and anxiety , you can try this technique 3-4 times in a week . Using scents to treat your mood is called aromatherapy. Some studies show that aromatherapy can decrease anxiety and improve sleep. Some examples of aromatic Scents are, Lavender, rose,Roman chamomile etc
4. Take Less caffeine than regular
Caffeine is restorative found in tea, Coffee, energy drinks and Chocolates. Higher the doses, higher the Anxiety . Different people have different capacity of consuming caffeine , so while taking high doses if you feel sleeplessness and anxiety , cut the intake as low you can .
As per some research moderate intake of caffeine is good for health so if you take it regularly try to take only fewer cups or in limited quantity
5. Laugh out loud and be happy
It’s tougher to feel anxious when you’re laughing. It’s good for your health. A good belly laugh doesn’t just lighten the load mentally. It boosts brain chemicals called endorphins, which help your mood to be better.In your leisure time read motivation Books , listening your favourite music , spend good time with family and be happy.
6. Stay positive ignore negative
Every coin has 2 sides 1 is negative and other is positive , same you have 2 vision that how you see your life , So i always prefer the positive side view because as much you remain positive , your body and mind response positively and result is stress and anxiety free life, Also stay away those people who demotivates and discourage you.
7. Read Bhagwad Gita or any holy book
As i am an Indian i respect every religion and their thoughts so as per my personal experience i read Bhagwad Gita whenever i have time , it is the only holy book of India which has every answer which you can think in your mind after reading this book my stress and anxiety get disappear, So as per my experience you can read this book or any other holy book .
8. Consult a Doctor (Psychologist or Psychiatrist)
If in worst case above ways to reduce stress and anxiety does’t work , in this case you have visit or consult nearby Psychologist or Psychiatrist , they can help you to overcome stress and anxiety.
